What is the difference between a “frame tent” and a “canopy” and what do I need?
CANOPIES are lightweight pole tents designed for shade and light rain protection. They are not suitable for heavy rain or windy conditions. Although it is possible to hang sidewalls on a canopy, it is not recommended. Canopies can only be installed on all grass. FRAME TENTS are heavy duty units suitable for almost any situation. They may be used on lawns, decks, driveways, patios, and parking lots. Sidewalls can be installed to suit almost any weather condition. We install frame tents all year long. How soon do I need to place my order?
The answer to this question varies, we will make our best attempt to accommodate our customers regardless of when they call. However for prime season (May thru September) it is best to reserve your equipment needs as soon as possible.
What is the “DWC” option on my contract?
The “Damage Waiver” works like an insurance policy. If you elect the damage waiver 10% is added to your invoice on the total contract. This covers any damage to the said equipment under normal usage. Refer to the terms of your contract for a complete description of this option. Without the “dwc” the customer will be responsible for any damage.
Is a deposit required , and what happens if I need to cancel?
A 1/3 deposit will be required to secure a reservation for the equipment you desire. Once we accept your deposit your equipment will be reserved especially for your event. The deposit shall not be refundable for cancellation or any reason.
Should I consider a tent for my occasion?
Besides the obvious reason of weather protection , a tent will add a lot of atmosphere to your party. A party tent tells your guests this is a special event and you care about their comfort. It also tells your neighbors, you know how to do things right.
When should I cut the grass before my event?
We suggest at least a day or 2 before your expected delivery of equipment. This way there is not a conflict upon the delivery of your tent or rentals.
Do I need to be home on the day of delivery?
It is not absolutely necessary, however it’s always a good idea be home to accept your rental delivery. Especially if there is any question as to where things should go.
